As with any business, we get asked a lot of questions from our clients, below are some of the most frequent questions we get asked along with the typical answers to these questions.
<strong>Is there a cost for the estimate?</strong>
No, all estimates are free of charge. Contact Us or call us in WI: (715) 426)-0179 or MN: (651) 699-6897 and we can arrange to have the owner meet you at your property.
<strong>How long does it take to get an estimate?</strong>
Most estimates can be done within a week.
<strong>How do I pay?</strong>
We do prefer cash or checks but we also do accept major credit cards and we do charge a 3.0% processing fee. Payment is due upon the completion of every job unless prior arrangements have been made before the start of the job.
<strong>How long is the price quote good for?</strong>
We guarantee our price for one year unless a different term is specified in writing by the owner.
<strong>Once approval on a job has been given, when can the job be completed?</strong>
We can typically get jobs completed within 4 weeks but it could take up to 6-8 weeks. Please always tell the salesman when he does your bid for you if you need your job completed within a certain time frame, we can typically honor most requests as long as we know ahead of time.
<strong>Once the job has been completed, how do I pay?</strong>
Our terms are “Payment in full due upon completion”. Once the job is finished, we will present you with the invoice. You can pay us directly with a check made payable to JCE Tree Service LLC, check, cash, or credit card. If you can’t be home when the work is done, we will leave an invoice on your door. You may mail us a check. Please note there is a 1.50% late fee charged per month on all late invoices.
<strong>Are we insured?</strong>
This is a very good question and should be asked of every contractor you are thinking of hiring. JCE Tree Service is fully insured and licensed with general liability and workers’ compensation. We will be happy to provide you with proof of insurance. Please always make sure to ask for proof of insurance before a contractor comes on your property to work.
